Prototype: German Federal Railroad (DB) type InterRegio passenger cars. One type Bim 263.5 passenger car, 2nd class. Light gray / distant blue basic paint scheme with pastel blue striping. Train route: IR 2670 from Konstanz to Kassel. Car sequence number 48. The car looks as it did in 1993.
Model: The car is completely new tooling for the InterRegio car family. It has multiple color interior details. The car has factory-installed LED interior lighting with a built-in buffer capacitor to bridge short-term spots without current. There are red transparent marker light inserts at the ends of the car. The underbody is specific to the car type and includes many separately applied details. The buffer height adheres to the NEM. The cars has type MD 366 trucks with a separately applied generator. The vents on the car body are separately applied. There are imprinted car route signs on the car. The minimum radius for operation is 360 mm / 14-3/16. Length over the buffers 28.2 cm / 11-1/8.
Additional add-on InterRegio cars can be found in the Trix H0 assortment under item numbers 23200 and 23201. An electric locomotive to go with these cars can be found in the Trix H0 assortment under item number 22929.This model can be found in an AC version in the Märklin H0 assortment under item number 43902.
